Dump out your bag and step into the love you've been searching for.”

"...it's a revolutionary feeling to know who you truly are. It's empowering to see your ugly bits as clearly as your beautiful ones and still feel worthy...I've learned to stop putting conditions on the love I have for myself, and it has led to a level of joy, peace, and pleasure I never imagined existed." This is just one of the many great lines and quotes from Love, Unpacked. I am so glad I read this book as I related to it on every level as a woman (especially me because I also grew up in SoCal): Feelings of shame, self-loathing, lack of self-love, thinking you're not good enough, etc...all from a female perspective and written with a strong sense of honesty and humour that made this book a page turner. I have read a lot of non-fiction, self-help in my life, and I feel that this book was one of the best I've read, getting to the heart and honest truths about being a female and trying to find out who we really are and ultimately LOVE OURSELVES.
