When Britt, a down-to-earth, smoking, cussing, brilliant CDC scientist, is sent to Argentina to investigate a virus, no one could imagine the depths of secrecy and diabolical planning stemming from the highest levels of government. With the help of Britt's unexpected friends, she goes on a wild ride as they try to expose the truth of an artificial virus and avoid killing millions of innocent people.
The themes in this book are thought-provoking, the action is well-paced and exciting, and the novel itself reminds me of books by Janet Evanovich, particularly her main character, Stephanie Plum. Britt shares the same sassy attitude, determination, and quick wit. I enjoyed this novel and highly recommend it to those looking for a thrilling adventure with plenty of action and a story that will make you laugh and cheer.
